How did he do it? Well, when he was 17 years old, he worked really hard just so he could build his own home. And you know what? He only spent £6,000 (less than $8k) on this entire project.

Do you know what’s his secret?

He is industrious, skillful, and resourceful. He knew that houses are expensive so that urged him to build his own in the most creative way.
“My idea on building the hut was to keep it all simple and just live that simple life stress-free, to be honest,” he said.
Tom decided to build a tiny house without spending too much. Most of the materials he used were recycled and reclaimed.

But the outcome of his hard work was amazing.

His house turned out pretty great. The first spot that you would see inside is a nice living room.

He made sure to maximize all the space.

It has a cozy couch, a fireplace, a television, and it’s a perfect place where he could relax during his free time.

The living area can truly accommodate not only him but also other people who would visit him.

Tom knew that building a kitchen is pricey so he thought of ways to build his own without shelling out a huge amount of money. It’s by using scaffold planks in building the countertop and he applied varnish on it.

I love his bathroom!

What you would see inside it is a chemical toilet that has an electric water flush feature.
The walls in his shower room are made of corrugated iron sheets.
He said that he wanted to achieve a rustic and simple bathroom.

“When you spend your blood, sweat, and tears on something, that’s a something you should feel proud of,” one commenter wrote.
Another viewer also said:
“This guy has earned my respect. It looks amazing, it’s functional, not to mention all the skills he learned. He’s going to go far.”
